I am a Christian man who has a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ. I enjoy deep conversations and meaningful relationships, I am unusually honest and fairly transparent... I am who I appear to be.I have a paladin's heart... I value honesty and integrity, depth of spirit, a willingness to laugh and the compassion to cry with another. I am not perfect and I do not expect perfection. I'm an old fashioned romantic. I enjoy writing, My life has provided me with a wealth of experience... some tremendously joyous some incredibly despairing... all coloring my vision of the world and myself but always bringing me closer to Jesus Christ. I am open to discussing any topic that can be approached respectfully and I am settled with who I am as a person. If you're looking for a player please pass by. I was married once for 34 years (married at 19). I did not stray in spite of the opportunities. I invite the Lord to walk with me where ever I go... you'll have to accept that part of me. I appreciate depth not superficiality. I appreciate substance that is more than skin deep. - What does your faith mean to you?
- My faith is central to my being, defines who I am, how I think, and affects how I interact with all things. It is my safe haven and the tabernacle from which I interact with my savior Jesus Christ. I am Christian which, to me, means following Christ, allowing His influence permeate my thinking and action. It means understanding I am a sinner no better than anyone It is believing that salvation is by His grace and that ultimately my life belongs to Him. He carried me through the most difficult of times... has been my deepest friend, my truest father, my dearest confidant and He will remain first in my life. Through His love I am able to love. Being Christian also means that my walk is toward Christ... I am not Christ nor are my human counterparts... it would be good not to expect that. To me being Christian is not denominational it is following Jesus Christ regardless of the building or the dogma's created by man.
- Why are you here?
- Good question haha. I was invted by two of my good friends Jonathan and Sandi... I probably shouldn't name names because I never know how people will react to my opinions but I love them both as a brother and as a sister in Christ. I am assuming I will be able to reconnect with them and others that have Christ central in their life. Sandi walked with me (long distance) through one of the most difficult times of my life and will forever be bonded with me in Christ as a result of that compassion and understanding. I've always enjoyed Jonathan's mind, faith, and love of Jesus Christ so... I'm looking foward to sharing perspectives :)

- I am not an expert... I speak from my faith with a compassionate heart and am passionate about my love for Jesus Christ. He claimed me in an extraordinary way and His love/clarity has truly changed the essence of my being. I am very transparent and firmly grounded in my faith. I see myself still as a child in Christ learning, being led, and fortunate to know the joy of His presence as well as His love.

Will You do me a favor today ? Will You go to my dear friend and give them a special touch ? I know You love them so much and that they are so precious to You, but I would like for You to do something unique today and totally awesome. Maybe reveal something about Yourself that They have never known … that would be extra ordinary. Or maybe whisper in Their ear how They are Your prized treasure. Perhaps You could just hold Them tightly until every fear and concern is wiped away. I don’t know, Lord, but I too, love Them much and desire for thier joy to be full, for thier strength to remain strong, for their faith to increase. Maybe You could visit my dear friend in their dreams. Cause them to dance with the butterflies, or sing with the trees on Your highest mountain. Fill them up today my awesome and wonderful God.
