I now have a deck!!! Yippee

Of course it is now over the knee deep in snow... but it's strong right?

Plus the 5 new windows are in and the aluminum capping is done.

Now if only the guys (tenants to be) would come and finish off the basement renovations... They could move in and life will be grand.

Doesn't look like the guys are going to come and build my deck after all.

Such disappointment after I was so excited and grateful.

At least I managed to finish painting the front veranda... go me!

I've finished the first can of blue paint and decided now is as good a time as any for a break.

I have to wait for the touch up near the side door to be dry before I paint the front steps and front part of the veranda... I've finished all the skirt all around. The neighbour guy with the perfect lawn... really likes the blue I chose... he keeps telling me so. (guess he was sick of the grey)

My place will soon have a cheery blue & white deck :D. Do I hear the sound of prop

I am very proud of me. I managed to get the primer sealer on the veranda (front porch) and it's skirt today. I hurt majorly during the process but I persevered and got it done!

Conseqently, I feel I deserve special recognition and appreciation, for accomplishing this Herculian feat!

And if it doesn't rain tomorrow... I can put on the pretty blue porch paint. If it does rain... well at least the naked wood is sealed and protected. :o)
