I have traveled a bit.
My dad was in the military.
I was born in 1964 in 3 Wing RCAF Zweibrucken, Germany
68 to 76 in CFB Chatham, New Brunswick
76 to 80 in CFB SummerSide, Prince Edward Island,
80 to 84 Hornell Heights, CFB North Bay, Ontairo
84 to 86 we lived off in off Base housing In SummerSide Prince Edward Island in the HillCrest
Then I moved to Toronto from 86 -98
Sudbury 98-04
since nov 04 I am back to southern ontairo
I was in La Pocotiere for 6 weeks in 91 on a language bursary to learn french and did it again in St. Bonaface, winnipeg, Manitoba, 5 weeks in 99.
After coming back from my second trip to the states, last year in Arizona and this time to Washington DC, kill devil hills NC, SC, and to Florida to see the space Kennedy centre then back up on the 77 through West Virgina back to Canada I am realizing how much I love to travel, meet new people, see new scenery, learn about history, try foods and restaurants I have never tried before. Tasted grits for the first time :). I would like to see every state and actually spend time in them and see the rest of Canada. I also want to see Europe as well then continue from there to visit other places. I really like going places that are warm.

- I am 43 and go to an Independent Baptist Church. I am in Ontairo, my family is in Prince Edward Island. My ancestry is Scottish, Irish, Welsh and English not sure if its in the genes :) but I like Tartans, bagpipes, fiddle, tinwistle, Irishwolfhounds, Scottish Deerhounds, Scottish Shortbread, but not interested in trying haggis :( sounds yuck.
I paint, draw, do cross stitch, crochet and am taking sewing classes. I made my first dress.
I have a cute little dog now 23rd April 2005. She was surrendered by the owner who had 22 dogs. She is a white schnauzer but may be a mix. she is adorable, a lot smaller then what I was thinking of when getting a dog. She is such a sweet gentle dog. I might adopt a greyhound rescue another time and someday want a great dane or wolfhound.

- Trusting God, his word and knowing he wants the best for me and for me to obey him.
I became a Christian sunday 27th december 1998. I would like to do Christian art someday. My friend in PEI started bringing me to her church whenever I visited and 7 years ago I asked Jesus to come into my heart. it's too bad that when we got transfered to Summerside that I had no Christian friends to encourage me to go to church. I had thought about it over the years and thank my friend for inviting me out to her Church. That is a real sign of friendship it means more to me then anything else.
The emotionalism and entertainment we see in
some Churches today worries me at what are people being "saved" to.
People wonder why it seemed that the person was born again
and as quickly as they "became a Christian"
they walked away from God to return to their old way of life,
perhaps they got caught up in the emotional high and
were never saved to begin with.
Our reason for picking a Church should not be
what makes us feel good by the entertainment.
We are there to worship God, not to socialize like we are at a party.
Too many Churches are using man's wisdom-- psychology in the Church instead of preaching the Bible and using God's wisdom.
When I was first a Christian I
started watching "Christian" shows on tv even
then was shocked at some of the false teachings on some shows.
I have concern for Christians who blindly watch
shows without questioning what is being said
and making sure the teaching is right.
I don't have children but if I did
I would want to send them to a biblically sound
Christian school and if not that I would home school.
The public school system is not a good place
for kids to be, their minds do not need to be filled with so many unGodly ideas.

- Why are you here?
- I was invited Jim. I wanted a place to chat with True believers from various Christian denominations, I already belong to a site that is only independent Baptist but wanted a place where my other friends would be, where we can fellowship.

- I like going to trade shows such as the sportsmen show, car show, needlecraft shows, healthy eating show, vegetarian show, Christmas craft shows. I like going to antique stores to look around. Maybe someday I will be able to buy some for myself. I like taking ugly furniture and making it look pretty.

Will You do me a favor today ? Will You go to my dear friend and give them a special touch ? I know You love them so much and that they are so precious to You, but I would like for You to do something unique today and totally awesome. Maybe reveal something about Yourself that They have never known … that would be extra ordinary. Or maybe whisper in Their ear how They are Your prized treasure. Perhaps You could just hold Them tightly until every fear and concern is wiped away. I don’t know, Lord, but I too, love Them much and desire for thier joy to be full, for thier strength to remain strong, for their faith to increase. Maybe You could visit my dear friend in their dreams. Cause them to dance with the butterflies, or sing with the trees on Your highest mountain. Fill them up today my awesome and wonderful God.
