- I am first and foremost a daughter of the One and Only True God. He holds the position of highest honor in my life. After that, I am the mother of three adult children and I have five grands ranging from 19 years to 19 months old. They are the greatest blessing short of salvation I've been given.
Next I have the greatest friends on earth and I hope that I can someday do something for each one to show how very much I love and appreciate them. They are my third most wonderful blessing.
And lastly, I am a Biomedical Researcher at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. I love my job. It has been rewarding and wonderful to find ways to help those suffering with chronic disease to have a better quality of life.
I am currently studying to become a Homeopathic Physician. I believe this is what God has been preparing me for all my life. It will be a ministry for me and I believe that it will possibly be the only health care that some people will have access to, for I truly believe that in the not too distant future our health care system will colapse and only the very wealthy will be able to afford health care. Those who can least afford to lose health care will be the ones hurt most by it's loss...the elderly, those with chronic illness, the poor and children. Praise God for I know that I am not the only one He is preparing for such a time as this.
I believe that God created the world with His medicine built into it to sustain our bodies in health, and His Way of life to sustain our emotional and spiritual health. Although I have been formally trained in allopathic medicine, I no longer believe it is the answer to our health issues.
God has given me a vision of a farm where people can come and stay for a while and be fed with good healthy, homegrown, whole foods, and provided with alternative therapies to help heal their bodies of sickness. Solid Bible teaching and emotional healing for the brokenhearted and those suffering with dis-ease and who are captive to sin and addictions of every sort. We were created in a triune way with body, mind and spirit and we need to be treated as a whole. I'm very excited about my role and of being the hands and feet of Jesus.
- What does your faith mean to you?
- My faith means ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING to me. If it were not for the Lord Jesus Christ I would have died by my own hand almost thirty years ago. As my relationship with God grows so does my love of Him and my desire to be found pleasing and delightful in His sight. The closer I get the more I need to serve Him moment by moment.
- Why are you here?
- My Sister of the Heart, Lizzy, invited me and when I got here I saw so many of my treasured friends that it just felt like I had come back home and I can't wait to reconnect.
- Tell us more
- I'm a leader in a Christian 12 step recovery program called Celebrate Recovery at my church and I work in the compassionate ministry of my church. It is such a joy to serve my Heavenly Father by being kind and helpful to those in need. James is my favorite book in the Bible because it teaches what I call practical Christianity. He tell us not to just wish others to be warm and fed but to do something about it. I take that seriously. It's hard for the lost to hear the Good News when those speaking it aren't practicing what it says.

Will You do me a favor today ? Will You go to my dear friend and give them a special touch ? I know You love them so much and that they are so precious to You, but I would like for You to do something unique today and totally awesome. Maybe reveal something about Yourself that They have never known … that would be extra ordinary. Or maybe whisper in Their ear how They are Your prized treasure. Perhaps You could just hold Them tightly until every fear and concern is wiped away. I don’t know, Lord, but I too, love Them much and desire for thier joy to be full, for thier strength to remain strong, for their faith to increase. Maybe You could visit my dear friend in their dreams. Cause them to dance with the butterflies, or sing with the trees on Your highest mountain. Fill them up today my awesome and wonderful God. re: There is a new Messianic Jewish Congregation just down the street a ways that I have considered visiting. Is there anything I need to know before I go there, so that I don't embarrass myself?
Always enter with a spirit of learning. The second that you enter with an attitude you are going to lead those stupid messianics into the sole Christian truth... you might as well draw a large target on your back.
The best time to attend is during the "Feast" days as there is free food oh wait I didnt say that... see above comment spirit of learning.. lol (Yes cup cakes are there... strickly Kosher)

What? Oh right back to the subject of umm ahh visiting. Know some one there? If you know some one .. that makes the experience even more enjoyable .. best advice is to befriend some one there to defend you against obstinate rabbies. (see Pit Bull)
