Finding God through pain and lonliness..........

- God has done tremendous amount of healing in this area of my life and I have been blessed with a life full of incredible testimony to His goodness in spite of turbulance. I work full time and live on the most beautiful 10 acre farm in a suite on the main floor of a large farm house with friends and their children. I look out at the mountains, the sky and the waterfall every morning!
At church I enjoy being part of the worship team and working with our youth. I have been invovled with them for the past 14 years and have gone on 3 Mission's trips.
UPDATE (09-05-29): I have been applying to go on short term mission's trips and will eventually leave my job and go into the field full time.
I have come to realize that people can take your time, your money, and just about anything from you - but they can NOT take your faith and love for God away. Cling to that because in the end, that's what saves!

But have they ever seen the world
The way it is today?
Is there such a love as that
For people of today
Or are they words that He had spoke
And we let them fade away?

Can You Hear Me God?!?!
As I sit here right now trying to understand what it is you want in my life God - I am faced with wonder if you even hear me. I have tears pouring down my face and my heart aches in a way that I haven't remembered not feeling for so long. God, where is the love, where is the friendship, where is the happiness that I seek. Seeing God through the pain.........
As I sit here this morning - showered, dressed and ready for church - God has brought the most amazing thoughts to my mind this morning. You see - I have been on my own for the past 4 1/2 years and it has not always been easy. Often people tell me to pray for God's peace and comfort to take away the lonliness of the romance, hugging, fellowship of a partner. For some - that definately is helpful - but for others we are taught and learn differently. I am once such person.

Changing Life
As I sit here tonight and I listen to the song "Everlasting God" by Chris Tomlin and I think about what is ahead for me I am in awe first as I look at what God has taken me through. You see - this Wednesday marks the 3 years since my brother went home to be with the Lord. In July I will be the same age as he was.
