It's hard to believe that the time for moving has almost come. I just recently returned from Calgary and I found a place to live. I will be in a great spot with lots of parkland nearby -- a close drive to where my kids live and to work.

Right now in the process of all the good-byes. It's amazing to be reminded of lives that have touched mine -- and to hear events that others remember.

Through it all, I can see God guiding my life. What an awesome God we serve.

Yesterday I got confirmation on my job in Alberta. It's official and I'll be moving in the spring. This will be a HUGE change for me. I am looking forward to the challenge.

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of spending most of the day with WeeDarcysMum and Frankie. Unfortunately, Shaina wasn't feeling well and was unable to join us.

I was blessed by getting to know this brother and sister better and by sharing with them.

Saturday was my niece's wedding. Melanie so much wanted my parents (her grandparents) to be there, but the past few months have been difficult for these elderly people. At one point, Melanie and Bryan were told to be very organized for their wedding as there might be a funeral before that.

But, my father rallied and did well. no more wheelchair, He is walking with his walker again. And as my father's physical health returned, my mother improved mentally in that she became calmer, t

I am looking forward to being a part of this community. However, today is a day with a lot of activity in my personal life --mainly about my parents-- and not a good day for making conversation on the forums. It is good to see so many of my friends here. Please drop by and say "hi".
