Ch 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only."
Churches today , are swamped with "lookie Louis" No one wants to get involved. We just want to get in , get it on and then get out, no real commitment .. (and then we wonder why marriages fail) .
Even the simplest bar-b-q gets hard to organize.
We talk about how Yeshua (Jesus for you Greek folks) tells us to reach the lost , some will even amen the sermon. But come out reach night, no one shows. We have so many gifts and talents given to us by our Adonai yet we file them for another time and do not use them.
Some of us are blessed enough to hold professions that deal with these matters, some of us do it on a volunteer bases.
I was ordained on September 1975 at Newcastle Bridge as a minister to His name. Since then I have never held a "paid " ministerial position, yet I have listend to the whiners that quit because they did not get enough ( at least they got some thing).
There is a sense of freedom I feel in delivering God's word. I am not accountable to any person signing my pay check so go ahead fire me ( lol)
But I am one, and there is so much work that needs to be done.Cant we see the writing on the wall? Do we not sense the hour of His comening?
Har Megido in Aramaic means a mountain time of His Choosing. (Appointment) In the valley of Jezzreal.
At a time of appointment in a valley of decision.We are all in that valley today. Do not let our master catch you sleeping! Wake up you slothful servant and put your hand to the plough, Wake up you harvester, the crops begin to persih in frost! Do not slumber any more, tooil while we still have light, and pray for candles in event we are found working in the night, the field is ready! The feast is near!
