The Strongman Series # 6 - Seducing Spirit
Now the Ruach ha Kodseh (Holy Spirit) tells us clearly that in the end times, some will turn away from the true faith and will follow deceptive Spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars and have their conscience dead ( 1 Timothy 4:1,2)
They look good, smell good, even can say the right things at the appropriate moment. So nice they are , that they can almost fool a lot of people. Yet deep down inside some thing sinister exists. Meet the hypocrite.
Hypocrites are driven by a seducing spirit, and this spirit has a sister called a “Lying Spirit” The seducing Spirit causes one to become deceived. It herds one away from truth, posing falseness masked as truth. False Prophets seem to work wonders and miracles , a slight of hand or well placed person make people certain some thing happened. The glitz and Glamour of the show replace the solemn assembly. You want to go for a “feel good “ experience rather than a “Deep personal” relationship with your God.
Soon confusion sets in and we can not find reality, while on stage the “leader” replaces God himself. Slowly we drift away from the truth itself ( 2 Tim 3: 13) Wacco is a prime example itself, and Jones Town still can send chills down our backs, and we wonder how this can happen.
Proverbs 1:10 tells us , when we see these false ones , just to turn our backs. Do not look at the deceivers as they attempt to work acts of magic among us. Stop our ears to what they say. And of course pray! Yes of course we like to have things our way .. But we who became parents now understand the words “daddy says” Amayn
Oh Strongman of Seducing Spirits , and Controlling Spirits (Jezebel) I bind you in the name of Yeshua. I command you to leave the Holy congregation, to abandon your charm , that your darkness be broken in light. I will not bow down to your image! I ask you Holy Spirit to cause the children to turn their backs on these liars, These conjurers, these charlatans , and deafen our ears to their melodic sounds. I loose the Spirit of Righteousness and the Spirit of Truth ( John 16:13). I ask that you help us surrender our wills to you Abba .
