The Strongman Series # 12 - The Spirit of Harlotry
There deed will not allow them to return to God for the spirit of harlotry is within them ., and they do not know the Lord < Hosea 5:4 >
Harlotry ( aka whoredomns ) is commonly thought as a sexual sin but really the seeds of unfaithfulness is planted deep in the hearts of many congregations. Let us review them:
Adultery - Not being faithful to your first love … who is that first love?? “ I am the Lord your God you shall not have any other god before me. Ah yes Elohim! My Abba ! Yet we place things , objects, life , every facet of life before we spend 5 minutes alone .. Relgate him to the bottom of the deck.
Prostitution. - Name your price ! We sh;lep the “gifts of God as if they were some sort of cheap trinket sold at a dollar store. We place images of our selves on walls rather than his ikmage in our hearts. People take the place of intimacy a man or woman becomes more important to listen to than the great voice !
Idolatry - Any image we set before us .. Or position, or person, or object ( materialism) that becomes first in our hearts rather than the still small voice.
Gluttony - Ahh yes we all poke fun at a “fat” person , but obesity is not a sign of gluttony, as this can be a glandular issue or even a hormonal one.
Gluttony is the eating of every thing on a constant basis . Indeed .. We rather eat “Televangelism “ than partake of true fellowship, we munch down “hysteria” but never dine on the true “meat and potatoes “ of the word.
Fornication - We all know this one right?/ But what about spiritual fornication ? This is where we get into bed with every form of belief . Take a dash of Hinduism, stir in a measure of Buddhism, mix in a cup of Islam, and garnish with a “christ” any christ will do .. This makes for a good recipe for “Heart Burn”.
For many walk of whom I often told you and now tell you even weeping that they are enemies (adversaries ar) of the cross ( Stake Ar) of Christ , whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly
( appetite) and whose glory is their shame, who set their minds on earthly things.
Oh Strongman of harlotry I bind you and command you to leave the sanctuary of Elohim you have no authority there.
Sweet Adonai we fall upon our knees and faces and cry out have mercy for we like sheep have gone astray. Forgive us our unfaithfulness, Forsake us not nor harden our hearts that we may turn our face to the wall and repent!
From whom the whole family in heaven and on earth is named, that He grant you, according to His riches in glory , to be strengthened with the might by His Holy Spirit that you inner man , the Mashyach may dwell by faith in your hearts by love while the root and foundation increase greatly in strength . AENT
